The 8th grade boys soccer team, including the players, coaches and fans have been awarded the district sportsmanship award for the southcentral soccer division they competed in this year. every coach on every team votes for the team they competed against that best exemplified what CYC sports is all about. this includes the behavior and conduct of the fans, the players and coaches. Pat Bruns and Joe Raybuck are the coaches for this team and set the tone for how the boys and fans conducted themselves all year long. The 8th grade boys team is the only team from our parish that received such award this year. We are very proud of this achievement and know that it is very well deserved. What a way to end the Immacolata soccer experience for the boys, coaches and fans. While this team did not meet it`s high expectations in the win loss column they did meet there high expectation in what the award certificate states "leadership, hard work, christian values and sportsmanship". Congratulations to all involved with this excellent program! |
